1. Overview
The Royal ITC offers premium membership and curated hospitality services. This policy governs cancellations and refunds for memberships, reservations, and ancillary services.
2. Membership refunds
- Cooling-off period — Within 7 calendar days of purchase, a member may request a full refund of the membership fee, less any benefits already utilised.
- After 7 days — Membership fees are non-refundable. Memberships remain valid for the purchased duration.
- Pro-rata refund — In exceptional circumstances (medical, bereavement) and at our discretion, a pro-rata refund may be issued.
3. Reservation cancellations
- Cancellations follow the terms of the partner hotel or resort holding the reservation.
- Standard partner cancellation windows are typically 7–30 days before arrival; peak-season bookings are often non-refundable.
- Members are encouraged to review specific terms confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Rescheduling
Members may request to reschedule a reservation subject to partner-property availability. A nominal concierge service charge of up to ₹2,500 may apply per change after the first rescheduling.
5. Refund processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
- Bank processing times may extend this timeline by an additional 3–5 business days.
- Currency-conversion losses on international transactions are not refundable.
6. Non-refundable items
- Concierge service fees and itinerary-planning charges.
- Air tickets, visas, insurance, and third-party reservations once issued.
- Partner-property charges in cases of no-show or early departure.
7. Disputes & escalations
For grievances, please write to support@theroyalitc.com. We acknowledge all grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 business days.
8. Force majeure
In events of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, epidemics, partner- property closures), bookings may be rescheduled at no cost. Cash refunds in such cases are subject to partner-property policies.
